The Cedar Rapids Jaycees are excited to announce the 30th anniversary of Uptown Friday Nights.

The summer concert series kicks off Friday May 18 with Black The Sun onstage. The events are rain or shine -- at the McGrath Amphitheatre. The entertainment line-up has been announced:

Admission is still just $5 for those 21+ with valid ID at the gate. Food and beverage tokens are available for purchase.

The success of Uptown Friday Nights has allowed the Cedar Rapids Jaycees to give hundreds of thousands of dollars back to the community.

The Cedar Rapids Jaycees were founded in 1933 as part of Junior Chamber International. The Cedar Rapids Jaycees is a civic organization comprised of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40.
