NewBo Music Festival

We are now just about a week away from the NewBo Music Festival, coming up August 8th.  Hopefully by now you've grabbed your tickets and are just as excited as we are to see the headliners Young the Giant and Allen Stone.  Maybe you've even heard that we're giving you the chance to meet them.

The NewBo Music Festival presented by The National is almost here! We're bringing tons of great musicians to NewBo City Market on Saturday, August 8th and this will definitely be something you don't want to miss.

The excitement is building here in Cedar Rapids for the NewBo Music Festival August 8. Our Townsquare Team is working hard to bring it to you. For the first time since it's opening a few years ago the NewBo City Market will host major touring acts in a festival setting...

As a Monticello-native, I haven't had the chance to experience everything Cedar Rapids has to offer yet. Recently, I got the opportunity to take some time away from work and visit the NewBo City Market - one place, in particular, that I have heard a lot about. For those of you who haven't been there before, I highly recommend you check it out as soon as you can. Make sure you show up with an empty stomach, too. There are so many different food vendors, you'll regret not trying at least one!
