The Iowa State Letterwinners Club has announced the Cyclones' Hall of Fame Class for 2015 and one of the inductees played high school basketball here in Cedar Rapids.

Stacy Frese was a two-time All-American during her career (1998-2000) at Iowa State and was named the college's Female Athlete of the Year three times. She also led the Cyclones to the NCAA three straight times including the Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen her final two seasons. Her list of accomplishments also includes the school record for made 3-pointers in a season, with 100. Stacy started her collegiate career at the University of Iowa, transferring after her freshman season.

Iowa State's other 2015 inductees include men's basketball player Marcus Fizer (1998-2000) who became the Cyclones second-ever consensus All-American in 2000, when he was named to the first team by every major outlet.

Dale Bahr (wrestling 1966-1968), George Martin (wrestling 1931-1933), Jeff Myers (track and field/cross country 1974-1978), and Tim Van Galder (football/baseball 1964-1966) round out the new Iowa State Hall of Fame inductees.
