The Iowa Hawkeyes open the Big 10 season Saturday in Madison at Camp Randall Stadium vs. Wisconsin. The Hawks come into conference play undefeated for the first time in 6 years and are a 7-point underdog.

My sporting pals here at KRNA thought this season would be another snoozer.

I hope Marshall Koehn goes long again. That kid is still on Cloud 9, two weeks after the boom heard 'round the region.

Who knows, maybe we'll lose a bunch of games in this patsy B10 schedule. Honestly, I don't care all that much. I like D III football, but Coe and Cornell are both on the road too. At any level, I do like 57-yarders at the buzzer. Get another one, Marshall!
