The University of Northern Iowa has an exciting couple of months ahead of them thanks to their athletics programs. Not only is football back, but now fans can gear up for the men's basketball season.

Some sports publishers are predicting the Panthers will have an exceptional season. The Almanac has predicted that the team will finish third in its Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) preseason preview.

Officials have just announced the MVC schedule for this upcoming season, which includes ten home games for the Panthers at the McLeod Center. The twenty-game season will see the Men's Basketball team take on some major competitors in the conference.

Here is the full schedule of games for the UNI Men's Basketball Team:

  • November 29th vs. Belmont HOME
  • December 2nd at Evansville AWAY
  • January 3rd at Missouri State AWAY
  • January 7th vs. Indiana State HOME
  • January 10th vs. UIC HOME
  • January 14th at Murray State AWAY
  • January 17th at Belmont AWAY
  • January 20th vs. Southern Illinois HOME
  • January 23rd vs. Evansville HOME
  • January 27th at Drake AWAY
  • January 31st at Bradley AWAY
  • February 3rd vs. Murray State HOME
  • February 7th vs. Missouri State HOME
  • February 11th at UIC AWAY
  • February 14th at Valparaiso AWAY
  • February 18th vs. Bradley HOME
  • February 21st at Illinois State AWAY
  • February 24th vs. Drake HOME
  • February 27th vs. Valparaiso HOME
  • March 3rd at Southern Illinois AWAY

The Mississippi Valley Conference tournament will take place in St. Louis over the course of several days, kicking off on March 7th and wrapping up on March 10th.

According to a recent press release, the tip-times for all of the games have yet to be determined.
