Englert Theatre Presents 8th Annual Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Stomp‎

Step back into a time when boogie-woogie piano and rockin' blues music was the newest and greatest form of popular music with Chase Garrett's 8th Annual Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Stomp on Friday, November 10. The Englert Theatre in downtown Iowa City is the venue for this one-of-a-kind show in the area featuring three of the most revered blues and boogie woogie piano players from around the world today!

Featuring 3 international pianists utilizing one grand piano and 8 highly acclaimed rhythm section members, this international traveling blues and boogie woogie piano festival at The Englert Theatre and The National Blues Museum will become a veritable breeding ground for the high energy showmanship, top quality musicianship and authentic swing, blues and boogie woogie sounds of the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
