The website Estately looked through thousands of official world records to figure out what each state has that's bigger than in any other state, and the results for Iowa are pretty strange.
A small Iowa town was in the record book from 1995 to 2004 and two other times since. This weekend, the community came together to obliterate a record that will hopefully keep them on top for a long time.
I've been to several cities around the Midwest this summer: Des Moines, Omaha, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Madison. Each city has cool bars, restaurants, shops, neighborhoods, and RECORD STORES. Which makes me wonder: Why doesn't Cedar Rapids?
