Attorneys defending the man charged in the shooting death of an Iowa State Patrol trooper in April wants the upcoming trial moved.

The suspect was taken into custody Wednesday after he was released from the hospital.

The standoff is believed to have started Friday night after a motorist was pulled over for speeding, then fled to his home.
