Foo Fighters don't perform encores at their shows much these days, but last night (July 15) at Citi Field in New York, they made an exception because of a special guest: Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith, who joined the band on stage for a cover of Rod Stewart’s “Stay With Me,” with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins on vocals. Check out some fan-recorded footage below.

"He's the best f---ing drummer in rock and roll," Dave Grohl said. "Let me tell you: We haven't done an encore in a long f---ing time. The only reason why we’re doing one tonight is because f---king Chad is here!

Ahead of their Citi Field shows, Foo Fighters set up a pop-up merch shop at 125 Rivington Street in New York. The temporary store features exclusive merchandise and is open until 10PM today (July 16). The band's tour will continue until November, so check out their complete upcoming schedule at their website.
