Dear, anyone who feels like they are uncomfortable in their own skin,

Have you ever had a zit that just drove you nuts? Skin issues are the worst. You can't hide them, they're embarrassing, and they can be tough to get rid of. When you're in your teens, acne is something that can be a terrible burden to bear. Sadly, there's not a lot you can do about it when you're young and your body is changing by the second.

I was lucky enough to not deal with acne very often as a teenager. I never really worried about getting zits or breaking out when I was younger. Before you'd call me lucky...that all changed when I turned 22 years old.

I've dealt with skin issues, every day, for the past 10 years. It doesn't bother me at this point in my life because I'm old enough to know it's not that big of a deal. If I would've dealt with psoriasis and these allergy problems when I was 16... that would've sucked.

In the early parts of spring/summer, I get this rash on my hands/arms. It's normally pretty tame and goes away within a week or so.  This year...it hit me hard.

Yikes!!!

Thankfully, these bumps are all almost gone. It used to bother me when I was younger but as a 32-year-old, it's not that bad. I have a fiance, I don't really need to impress anyone anymore.

It's still annoying and something I'd rather not have to deal with but... it's part of my life. When summer rolls around...here it comes. This year, I've tried to really stay ahead on doing the yard work, and my hands, arms, and legs, have paid the price for it.

I have this rash/bumps on my hands, arms, shoulders, and legs. There's nothing worse than going out in public and seeing someone stare at these bumps. It's embarrassing. I'd rather not have to explain to people why I look like I've been attacked by 200 mosquitoes but it's probably going to be something I deal with, at the start of summer, for the rest of my life.

I shared this story for anyone who deals with skin issues or for anyone who is embarrassed about a pimple. At the end of the day, yes it sucks. I'd rather not have this rash all over my body. I just want anyone who feels uncomfortable in their own skin to know... we're in this together.
