Wisconsin Is Home To A Museum Dedicated To Nothing But Mustard
It only makes sense that one of the most popular condiments in the world should be honored by having its own museum in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin's National Mustard Museum
It's funny because I'm not a big fan of mustard. When I was a kid, if someone put it on my hot dog there was no way I was eating it. I'm not as bad now. If it's on my burger, I'll still eat it. Well, unless it's drenched with the condiment.

I do understand that it's a very popular condiment and that many of my friends, family, and co-workers enjoy mustard. I can totally appreciate that. I'm not one of those people who get all freaked out by the sight of it.

Even though I'm into mustard, there is something that fascinates me about the popular condiment. It's the fact that there is an actual mustard museum in Wisconsin. I definitely want to check it out. If I'm ever in that area, I will stop by for a look.
The National Mustard Museum is located in downtown Middleton. Their collection of the popular condiment features over 65,000 different kinds of mustard. They are from all 50 states and over 70 countries. I didn't even know that there were that many in the world.
Each year for National Mustard Day, the museum hosts a huge festival with live music, food, beverages, and lots of activities for the whole family. It happens every year on the first Saturday in August. This year it will be held on August 2nd.
The National Mustard Museum offers free admission to enter. They also host a special children's program called Mustard for Munchkins to teach them about the condiment. This is a really cool place and if you're ever in the area stop by for a visit.
