Don't you dare call the city of Cedar Rapids a 'fixer-upper'! One of the stars of the long-running hit show will be making a stop in Cedar Rapids in 2026.

Joanna and Chip Gaines Star on 'Fixer Upper'

Chip and Joanna Gaines started their home design empire with the hit TV show 'Fixer Upper' in 2013. The show would air until 2017. The show was taped in Waco, Texas, and even led to a boost in tourism in the area. But the TV show was just the start.

Chip and Joanna also head the media brand Magnolia, which includes the Magnolia e-commerce site, the Hearth and Hand collection available at Target stores, the magazine Magnolia Journal, and the Magnolia Network, where episodes of Fixer Upper still air to this day.

Joanna Gaines Coming to Cedar Rapids

CBS2 reports that Joanna Gaines will be making an appearance in Cedar Rapids in 2026. She will speak at the 2026 Women Lead Change Conference. The event runs from April 21-22 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex.
