When you play for the Iowa women's basketball team, you know that you have an all-time great in your corner. Caitlin Clark continues to follow Iowa women's basketball and took to social media on Sunday to make her thoughts known on what she thought was a bad call.

Iowa Player Hit with a Technical Foul

The call that ticked off Caitlin and Iowa fans came during the Hawkeyes' home game against Fairfield Sunday at Carver Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. Iowa player Taylor Stremlow blocked a Fairfield player's shot and was excited after she made the play. That apparently was too much for the ref, according to Hawk Central. She was hit with a technical foul. Here is the play.

Did Stremlow say something after the play? Yes. But this has to be one of the softest technical fouls I've seen in a while!

Caitlin Clark NOT Happy With the Call

Clearly, Caitlin Clark was watching the game on Sunday, as Hawk Central reports that she took to social media to express her frustration with the technical foul.

I have to agree with #22. Should taunting be allowed? No. But that's not what Stremlow did. She was showing emotion after making a big defensive play. You can't take the emotion out of sports. That is why we watch! We love to see that the game means something to the men and women who play. Something tells me Iowa coach Jan Jensen was too upset with Stemlow. The refs? That's another story!
