How Many of America’s Best Coffee Chains Have Iowa Locations?

USA Today recently released their list of the best coffee chains across the country as part of the 10Best Readers' Choice Awards! According to voters, Kaldi's Coffee is America's best coffee shop in 2024. Unfortunately, Kaldi's is only located in Missouri and Georgia, so you'll have to travel out of state to try it. In fact, there are no Iowa locations for MOST of the top ten! Here are all of this year's winners:

• #2: Joe Coffee - No Iowa locations
• #3: Saxbys - No Iowa locations
• #4: Peet's Coffee - No Iowa locations
• #5: Dutch Bros Coffee - No Iowa locations
• #6: Bluestone Lane - No Iowa locations
• #7: Starbucks - 50+ Iowa locations
• #8: Dunkin' - 36 Iowa locations
• #9: Scooter's Coffee - 15 Iowa locations
• #10: Caribou Coffee - 15 Iowa locations

If you're curious about the top drive-thru coffee spot in the U.S., I'm sorry to say that we only have ONE of them here in Iowa. Ziggi's Coffee was ranked number one on that list, and it appears that that only Iowa shop is located over in Ankeny. The only other Iowa coffee shops to make the list were Scooter's Coffee at number six, Starbucks at number seven, Dunkin' at number eight, and Caribou Coffee at number nine.
