This year in Iowa City, Farmers' Market shoppers will have both in-person and online options. Separate from the in-person Farmers' Market, which runs Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 to noon at Chauncey Swan Ramp, is the online "Field to Family" market, which has announced more details including a pick-up location.

Iowa's News Now says that starting on Tuesday, April 27, shoppers can start ordering items online. Distribution of those items will be held Saturday, May 1 at the Johnson County Health and Human Services parking ramp on Clinton Street.

Shoppers can order from 31 vendors from noon Tuesday through noon Wednesday each week of the market through October.

This online market started as a collaboration between Field to Family and the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department last May as a response to the pandemic. Due to popular demand, Field to Family is continuing their online option, while the first in-person Iowa City Farmers' market will be held at the Chauncey Swan Ramp on Saturday, May 1.

You can also register as a customer here to get alerts the moment shopping starts on the 27th.
