Northeast Iowa Ag Queen Brings Home A National Title

Two weeks ago, women of all ages across the country traveled to Ohio to compete for the National Miss Agriculture USA title. Among these women was Northeast Iowa’s Amanda Sadler.

Sadler has held the title of Iowa Elite Ms. Agriculture USA since 2019, and she currently holds the 2022 Nationals Runner-Up title.

You can say agriculture has always run through her DNA. Sadler grew up on a dairy farm raising registered Holsteins and still farms today with her husband raising soybeans, and hay and even participates in a wildflower CRP program.

When she’s not working on the farm, Sadler works at John Deere in Waterloo where she is a Continuous Improvement Project Manager. There she is able to work with Deere facilities all over the world in Argentina, Brazil, China, France, India, Mexico, and several in the United States.

Sadler is not the only royal member of the family. This year, she is serving alongside her nieces who are the Iowa Little Miss and National Runner-Up Petite Miss Agriculture USA queens.

Northeast Iowa dairy and Agriculture Foundation’s Breakfast on the Farm was Sadler's first event as National Runner-Up Elite Ms. Agriculture USA.

“Hopefully over the course of the next year you will see me lots of different places. So some of my goals are to be a state fair and to help with the Silos and Smokestacks around the area as they have different events.

As the Iowa Elite Ms. Agriculture USA Sadler has gone to activities across the state. She had the opportunity to Iowa State Fair, and National Cattle Congress, and helped with daily shows at the county level.
