Actor Jason Momoa, known for his roles in movies like 'Aquaman' and 'The Justice League' was involved in a head-on collision with a motorcycle on Sunday in California.

ABC 7 reports that the accident happened at around 11 a.m. yesterday on Old Topanga Road. The California Highway Patrol says that the motorcyclist crossed over the double yellow lines and into the path of Momoa's oncoming car in the eastbound lanes. ABC 7 reports that the motorcycle hit the left front end of Momoa's car and the driver fell off the bike and onto the ground.

Authorities say that Momoa was uninjured in the accident and remained at the scene to help the injured motorcyclist and flagged down a passerby to call 911. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries according to ABC 7. Momoa was driving a 1970 Oldsmobile similar to the one he drove in the Netflix film 'Sweet Girl'.

Momoa is no stranger to the state of Iowa. The actor was born in Hawaii but moved to Iowa after his parents divorced. He was raised in Norwalk, Iowa where he has family living to this day. He often visits and hits up some of his favorite restaurants in the Des Moines area while he's home. Fans may call him Aquaman, but we call him an 'Iowan'. Safe travels Mr. Momoa.
