You’ve Been Heard

A few days ago I posted a blog about the upcoming NewBo Music Festival coming to Cedar Rapids on Saturday, August 8th. The point of the blog was my excitement about the festival and the fact that this would be an annual event.

Some listeners thought I was deliberately ragging on the current local music scene in CR. Others thought I wasn't knowledgeable at all about local music or the venues that host it.

They're wrong, but I'm a good sport, so I'll do the following:

With all of this being said, the NewBo Music Festival and the new live music venue, The National, will bring something unique to this area. They will also further help to highlight the live local music scene. I would think everyone would love that.
