This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the debut album from KISS.  Recently, the band received their long overdue honor of being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  For those that can name more KISS merchandise than KISS

songs, go buy any one of their early albums!  Listen to KISS, Hotter Than Hell, Dressed To Kill, Alive!, Destroyer, Rock And Roll Over or Love Gun.  Straight up rock n’ roll.  These are the albums that so many of today’s musicians grew up listening to… Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Rob Zombie, Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Lenny Kravitz, and the late Dimebag Darrell (Pantera), to name a few – hell, Dimebag was even buried in a “KISS Koffin”!  But it’s not about coffins, the KISS Kondoms, or the KISS Platinum Visa Card.  And it’s not only about the fire-breathing, the blood-spitting, the 7-inch leather heels, or the make-up.  It’s also about rock n’ roll.  And it’s about 15 years overdue for this band to get its rightful place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Bill’s Top KISS tracks: “Parasite”, “Cold Gin”, “Watchin’ You”, “Shock Me”, “Goin’ Blind”
