Conventional wisdom tells us it's prudent to shower every day. Most people do. It's not necessary according to one expert.

Dr. Elaine Larson, an infectious disease expert at Columbia University, says when talking about your skin, a shower per day is not needed. That much bathing can cause cracked skin and allow germs in, while depriving it of essential oils.

In other words, forget your pungent smell and SAVE YOUR SKIN!

OK, that's not going to fly. Maybe in Europe, but not here...for most of us. If you work out as much as the "experts" recommend, what would Ms. Larson advise?
