You've heard of having your groceries delivered, but one company wants to take it further--and put them away for you as well. Whether you're home at the time or not.

It was reported by Delish and other sources that this concept is in the works at Wal-mart, and needless to say, folks aren't happy about it. The most difficult part of this concept to grasp is that the groceries can be delivered and stocked even when you're not home.

The company partnering with Wal-Mart on this program is called August, who creates keyless locks able to be monitored on your phone. The company that will deliver the items is Deliv. Drivers from Deliv will stop by Wal-Mart to pick up your order when it's ready and will deliver it to your house. Then, using a one-time passcode will be able to enter your home and stock your groceries for you.

This concept seems sketchy to me to say the least but what are your thoughts? It's one thing to let them in when you're home, but when you're out is it really a good idea? A manager at one local Wal-Mart says that they will not be providing this service at this time but will continue to have online ordering and grocery pick-up.

What do you think about this? Is it something you would try? Share your thoughts in the comments.
