It sure looked like a catch to me. The ball landed in his glove, he took a couple steps, and then he disappeared over the outfield wall. But, alas, the rulebook had to step in.

We've seen multiple examples in football over the years where what appears to be a catch is overruled by a convoluted rulebook definition of a catch. Dez Bryant of the Cowboys and Calvin Johnson of the Lions know what I'm talking about.

My question on this play is what if he would've taken 20 steps before tumbling over the wall and dropping the ball? Is it still not a catch? It looked like he caught it, took a couple quick steps and went airborne. Watch the video below... you decide.
