What’s Your Favorite Halloween Candy?

So, my wife made the mistake of picking up 2 bags of Halloween candy a full month before the actual holiday. Well, now we're down to 1 bag. She thought she'd be proactive, getting some good early deals on candy for the ghouls and goblins that ring our doorbell on Halloween night. Turns out that was a bad idea. You see, I have an out-of-control sweet tooth. Every meal must be followed up by something sweet. If there's ice cream in the freezer, it usually takes two days for me to finish a quart. And now because of my wife's asinine decision to have large bags of candy easily accessible for several weeks, youngsters from around the neighborhood will see the Hahn's porch light go dark early on Halloween evening as our paltry candy stash disappears.

The bags my wife purchased contain Snickers, Plain & Peanut M&M's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Milky Way, Twix & Almond Joy. Did you know according to a survey by Influenster, Twix is the favorite Halloween candy for Iowans in 2015. And even though it only came in first in two states, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups was most popular across users overall.
