A wild first week of college football led to some big changes in the new Associated Press poll.

Oklahoma lost on the road at Houston, and the Sooners dropped from 3rd to 14th. The hardest fall was LSU who lost to unranked Wisconsin at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. LSU was previously ranked 5th and fell all the way to 21st.

Teams that jumped up in week two of the rankings... Houston went from 15th to 6th. Wisconsin went from not being ranked to 10th. Texas beat Notre Dame in a shootout and jumped from not being ranked to 11th.

The Iowa Hawkeyes moved one spot from 17th to 16th with their win against Miami (Ohio) 45-21.
