Waterloo Convenience Store Robbed, Employee Assaulted

According to KWWL, "Waterloo police are investigating a morning robbery at Prime Mart, located in the 500 block of Broadway Street."

Police say the incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The suspect demanded money and left the store. Unfortunately, authorities don't have a very good description of the suspect involved.

The KWWL story also noted the employee working was assaulted during the robbery. Thankfully, the clerk has no major injuries. Police in Waterloo will continue to investigate this incident.
