Watch The 1966 Batman Movie At NewBo

I was a HUGE fan of the old Batman series growing up as a kid. I'm only 40, so I didn't actually grow up with the show....but I did watch all of the the reruns on Nick at Night. The show was very "campy," but I thought it was great! I'm sure I've seen every episode at least two or three times.

This Friday, January 6th, you can see the original Batman movie at NewBo City Market. It's part of their Friday Night Flicks Series. The movie will start at 6:00 p.m. NewBo City Market is located at 1100 Third Street SE, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

I love that NewBo is doing this movie series. We need more family friendly entertainment in the "City of Five." The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that the series is made possible by Rockwell Collins.

The "Dynamic Duo" will be on the big screen this Friday at NewBo. Bring the family, have some popcorn and a have a great time. I'll see you there!
