During last night's Dimebash in Hollywood – the annual celebration of the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell – a one-off supergroup took the stage to pay tribute to the late Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. Dave Grohl, Metallica's Robert Trujillo, Slayer's Dave Lombardo and Pantera's Phil Anselmo covered "Ace of Spades" (via Rolling Stone).

Check out footage below.

Grohl has made his love of the late Lemmy Kilmister very public since the Motorhead frontman died earlier this month – both with a new "Ace of Spades" tattoo and by delivering a poignant eulogy at Kilmister's memorial service.

“He’s the one true rock and roller that bridged my love of AC/DC and Sabbath and Zeppelin with my love of GBH, the Ramones and Black Flag,” the Foo Fighters leader said. He also recalled the first time he met Kilmister: “So I walked up and said, ‘Excuse me, Lemmy, I don’t want to bother you, but you’ve influenced me so much. You’re my musical hero. I’m a musician, I play in the Foo Fighters, and I was in Nirvana.”
