Alabama Shakes are enjoying a pretty stellar 2015. Their sophomore effort Sound & Color has lived up to all the expectations set by the band's 2012 debut Boys & Girls and then some, even raking in four Grammy nominations. While Grammy winners won't be announced until February, the Brittany Howard-led outfit has already taken home some accolades ahead of the year's end.

Howard recently won Billboard Women in Music’s 2015 Powerhouse award, and considering the sheer force of the frontwoman’s stage presence, we can’t imagine any competitors remotely came within range of Howard. At the ceremony, Howard stunned with a performance of Sound & Color bonus track “Joe.” You can now watch her command the Billboard stage in the video at the top of the page. This isn’t the first time the Shakes have wowed with the powerful non-album track; they also performed it during a recent musical guest spot on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Sound & Color -- which landed in April -- is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album at the 2016 Grammys. “Don’t Wanna Fight” is up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. Winners will be announced at the Feb. 15 ceremony.
