Warm Up with Hot Drinks and Sweet Deals in Iowa City

With the cold weather bearing down on us, we are all clamoring for some sort of relief. One of the best ways to beat these negative temps is with a nice cup of hot chocolate and perhaps a toddy or two. The Iowa City Downtown District is pairing that with some great deals at local shops for their Downtown Hot Cocoa Crawl on Friday, January 19th.

According to their Facebook event page:

The Hot Cocoa Crawl will be our winter version of the Summer Shop Crawl! The Hot Cocoa Crawl will be an evening of hot cocoa, hot toddies and other fun winter warm drinks, appetizers and winter sales at wonderful downtown businesses.

With a $15 ticket purchase, you will receive a tin Hot Cocoa Mug, custom Downtown Iowa City gloves, access to the sales in the stores, and drinks at each participating shop. It is an all-ages event, but those 21 and up can also get some extra warmth in their cups, if you know what I mean.

Online ticket sales will end at noon on January 19th and can be purchased at littlevillagetickets.com.
