Volunteers Needed for MidWinter Renaissance Faire

If you're that kind of person that likes to completely immerse yourself into a fun time, then maybe some behind-the-scenes work with the MidWinter Renaissance Faire is just the thing for you. The Cedar Rapids Public Library hosts the event every year, and the next one is coming up on January 20, 2018.

The Cedar Rapids Public Library's Event Page describes what type of people they need:

...fervent, charming volunteers to participate and assist...Share your medieval talents with us. Read to us from the great Shakespeare to show off your skills. We will test your volunteer mettle with an improvisational skit. Auditions will last 5 to 10 minutes. Please wear any garb that you might on the day of the Faire. Singing, dancing, and carousing appreciated, but not required.

Volunteer opportunities include faire attendants, game players, and amusing assistants.

Open auditions will be held in Beems Auditorium B on November 1, 2107 starting at 5:30 PM. For more information, please visit the CRPL Website.
