It seems like you can bet on anything these days. The lottery, sports, horses and even the 2016 Presidential Election. I was surprised they actually post a "Vegas line" for an event like this. But they do, so let's break it down.

I logged on to www.bodog.com to find this betting information. This is for entertainment purposes only, it's still illegal in the Hawkeye state to make a bet from your computer.

Hillary Clinton is listed at minus -$350. That means you have to "lay money" to win money. If you want to win $100, you would have to bet $350. Your $350 bet would return you $450. It all very confusing, if you ask me.

Donald Trump is listed at plus +$220. That means if you bet $100, you get $320 back on your wager. It's because he's the "underdog." But after this weekend, that number might be changing!

You do have one more choice if you are looking for a "huge" payout. The field bet (all other candidates) pays you $5,000 on a $100 bet. I'm not giving advice, but this is probably not a good wager.

The election is next week, I'm still undecided on my vote. I keep going back and forth. When I start to like one of them, they do something stupid. I almost wish we could just start over.

I don't talk politics, so I'll stop here. But do me a favor on November 8th: GET OUT AND VOTE! It's your right as an American. And if you decide to wager on the election, good luck to you. I hope you win a buck or two.
