Depending on where you are in Eastern Iowa, Thursday will be an active weather day.

Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the corridor starting at Noon tomorrow with a mixture of rain and snow. A couple of inches of snow will accompany this system.

As you work your way north, things get much more difficult for travel. Here's the wrap from our weather partners at CBS2:

A Blizzard WARNING will be in effect Thursday for Waterloo and much of northeastern Iowa. A Winter Storm Warning will also be in effect Thursday for Allamakee County, Clayton County, and southwestern Wisconsin. A mix of rain, freezing rain, and heavy snow (3-6") is possible. Wind gusts of 40-50 mph will make travel dangerous. The Corridor will see moderate to heavy rain from this storm through Thursday afternoon and then 1-2" of snow through Thursday night.

Justin Roberts will track the storm with frequent updates on the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show on 94.1 KRNA tomorrow morning.
