We have just received some exciting news from the Cedar Rapids Jaycees.

A new show has been added to the "Uptown Friday Nights" season for 2018! The event was cancelled due to weather on July 13th, when Copperhead Creek was scheduled to perform. A make-up date for that performance has been announced, and a second local band added to the bill.

Join us on Friday, September 14th at the McGrath Amphitheatre, as the gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Copperhead Creek will perform, and will be followed at 8 p.m. by 8 Seconds Band.  Help celebrate the 30th anniversary of "Uptown Friday Nights" with two great local bands and a party until 10 p.m.!

Meanwhile, this week, on August 17th, it will be the second-to-last Uptown show with Fresh Fighters, a Foo Fighters tribute band, and Rockinfreakapotamus.

It's also military night!  Veterans and military members can bring their military ID for discounted admission at the gate. The Teufelhund Veterans group will be on site collecting donations for the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.

We thank the Cedar Rapids Jaycees for another great season and for adding this make-up date to extend the fun a little bit longer.

As usual, the show is for ages 21 and older, with a $5 admission at the gate. Click the link below to win tickets.

We look forward to seeing you there!
