The Trans-Siberian Orchestra made a tour stop in the Quad Cities Thursday night. The concert was part of their 2016 winter tour. This was my first time at a TSO show, and I'm glad I was there.

The show was an amazing display of lights, sounds and high tech wizardry. I haven't seen that much pyrotechnics since KISS toured a few years ago. TSO even made it snow in the iWireless Center! It was a great concert, and I'll never forget the experience.

After the show, I was able to introduce our concert ticket winners to members of the band, including guitarist and founding member Al Pitreli. It was fun to talk to Al about the show, as well as the other bands he has worked with over the years. This guy has done it all, and he took time out of his evening to chat with us...it was pretty cool.

I'll be honest, I didn't know what to expect from this concert. I thought I might get bored half way through the set. But that didn't happen, it was fantastic. I'll definitely try and see The Trans-Siberian Orchestra the next time they come to town!
