Watch your speed, buckle up, and don't drink and drive. Just a friendly little reminder you should do at all times, but especially this week. All across the state, police officers and deputies will be out in force starting Wednesday through the weekend.

The effort is part of the Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau to reduce fatal crashes. Law enforcement will be watching for alcohol and drug impaired drivers, speeders, and seat belt usage.

Thursday is St. Patrick's Day, so make sure you have a designated driver if you plan to celebrate with alcohol.
