I just realized Christmas is a little over two weeks from now. I haven't done any shopping, and the tree is still packed away in the basement. It's time to get in the Christmas mood, but instead of shopping, let's start rocking!

I decided to make a list of my "Top 5 Christmas Rock Songs!" It wasn't easy to keep it to five, but I did. After you're done reading the list, comment below and tell me what song I might have missed. Merry Christmas!

    AC/DC - "Mistress for Christmas"

Rock stars are always looking for action, even on Christmas. I'm hoping to get this song into regular rotation on 94.1 KRNA next week. It's one of their best tunes, ever.

Guns N' Roses - "White Christmas"

It's not an original, (obviously) but Axl and the boys shred this Christmas classic. Lots of screaming and heavy guitars, per usual.

Tom Petty - "Christmas All Over Again"

I saw Tom Petty in concert a few years ago, he didn't play this song. It made me sad. When I think of Christmas, I think of this classic TP hit.

Run DMC - "Christmas In Hollis"

I know it's not a "rock song" but it rocks, so it's going on my list. It almost made number 1....I love it.

    The Kinks - "Father Christmas"

"Father Christmas, give us your money, Don't mess around with those silly toys!" Lyrics to live by this holiday season. And for that, the Kinks get the number one spot!
