Last Thursday, April 19, Cedar Rapids Police announced they had filed murder charges for the shooting death of AnnaElise Edgeton in January. However, they said at the time that it was an ongoing investigation. Today, they announced more charges connected to the incident.

Cedar Rapids Police have arrested three people. Here are the charges they face:

  • 18-year-old Allen Wayne Miller of Marion: Conspiracy to Commit a Forcible Felony for the Forcible Felony of Burglary in the First Degree and Accessory After the Fact.
  • 17-year-old male juvenile: Conspiracy to Commit a Forcible Felony for the Forcible Felony of Burglary in the First Degree and Accessory After the Fact.
  • 16-year-old female juvenile: Conspiracy to Commit a Forcible Felony for the Forcible Felony of Burglary in the First Degree and Accessory After the Fact.

All three suspects are being held at the Linn County Jail.

19-year-old Kyler Junkins of Marion was charged last week with Murder in the First Degree and Burglary-First Degree in the shooting death of Edgeton. She was found in her unit at Shamrock Apartments (316 Jacolyn Drive SW) in Cedar Rapids the morning of Saturday, January 13, 2018. An autopsy showed she had died from a gunshot wound. Edgeton was just 18 years-old.
