This Day in History – ‘Meteora’ Debuts at #1

On April 6, 2003, Linkin Park started a two week run at number one on the US album chart with Meteroa.  It was the band’s second album, the follow-up to their huge debut, 2000’s Hybrid Theory.  Meteora was also the band’s first album to go number one in the US and UK.  The album’s singles included: “Somewhere I Belong”, “Faint”, “Numb”, “From the Inside” and “Breaking the Habit”.
