This Bever Bike Lane Would Make Les Claypool Proud

I'm all about the urban cycling revolution. Motorists should share the road. We always preach that in the motorcycling world, and now it's being preached in Cedar Rapids for the 2-wheelers with pedals.

Earlier this year, the green lanes were installed downtown, and Bever Ave. had these pasted on to the roadway....every 10 feet...for the new road-sharing concept.

While I don't think we need THAT many reminders, it IS a good thing. A 2-ton bullet wins vs. a fat guy with spandex on a Trek Antelope.

Mr. Les Claypool knows a thing about Beavers on Bever.

A dry week is in store for Eastern Iowans. The next chance for snow is Monday the 22nd. We need a green a Christmas like we need multiple root canals in '15. C'mon Mutha Nature - steer a blizzard in these parts!! I'm not traveling outside of Linn County...gonna stay on that Bever Bike Route.
