Keep your darn socks on!

With Thanksgiving coming up next week, there are a WHOLE lot of people who will be traveling out of state to see family and friends. I am one of those travelers. The unfortunate thing is, I can't afford a ridiculously-priced plane ticket, so I'm stuck in a car for 8-hours each way. Sometimes I'm happy I get to travel alone, though. For the lucky people who can afford to fly, sometimes you get stuck next to some super annoying strangers.

According to UPROXX, British Airways had travelers from the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, and Italy do a survey about airplane etiquette, and it revealed some pretty interesting things. For example, when it comes to the middle armrests, 67% of travelers think that the polite thing to do is use one armrest and leave the other, while 45% of American and U.K. travelers think they should go to whoever gets there first. 92% of travelers agree that you should dim the lights on your screen when the cabin lights are out, and 83% of travelers also agree that the conversation should stop with a "hi" and a smile. The most interesting part of the survey, though, is about shoes and socks. Overall, 59% of all travelers think it's ok to remove your shoes, but in the U.K. and U.S., 59% say it's NOT ok. Additionally, 87% of passengers say removing your socks is a big no-no.

In your opinion, what is the most ANNOYING thing that people do on planes? We asked people on Facebook and got some pretty good answers:

And then we got a very WEIRD response:
