The next presidential election is set for November 8, 2016.  Yes, we have 14+ months to deal with this dog and pony show.  Politicians wearing make-up out glad-handing, kissing babies, trying to appear like a regular "Joe" (or "Jill" in Hillary's case).  The entire thing is nauseating and insulting.

Recently, Des Moines got to see the goofiness up close.  Several candidates showed up at the Iowa State Fair to stuff their face and mingle with the common folk. If they really wanted to fit in with the average American, they would've eaten half their weight in deep fried food and guzzled a 64-ounce Coke. I love the idea that Donald Trump was eating pork-on-a-stick before jumping back on his own private helicopter... yep, he's just one of us!
