The Powerball Jackpot Will Be Over $400 Million This Week

If you're one of those people that waits until there's a really high jackpot before you play the lottery, then now is the time to buy your ticket!

I am an incredibly unlucky person. I don't know why, but it's been like this my whole life. I can count on one hand how many time I've won prizes, or walked away with money at the casino, or won more than $3 on a scratch-off ticket. Despite my unluckiness, I always buy a lottery ticket when the jackpot gets this high.  Why? Because why NOT?! If I'm going to test my luck, it may as well be when I could win over $400 MILLION.

There was no Powerball winner on Saturday night, which means that the prize will be rolling over into Wednesday's drawing. The jackpot has been building since June 10th, and is now at an estimated $430 million dollars.  Your odds of winning? One in 292 million.

Both the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots were over $300 million last week, until one lucky Illinois resident won Saturday's $393 million Mega Millions jackpot. I'm hoping to beat that guy on Wednesday evening. Who's with me?
