I've only been to one NHL game in my life, but it was a good one. My brother is a transplanted Canuck and one winter when I visted him in Calgary, he took me and our Dad to the Saddledome. Hockey is a religion in that part of the world. These are great fans and they cherish the game. National pastime? You bet.

That night I kept my binoculars on Flyers legend Eric Lindros. Big #88 had a great game. Don't remember the score, but I do remember it was cool to see such a legend in action. The Saddledome was the skating and slapshooting home of the 1988 Winter Olympics. Brother Keith also took us to Canada Olympic park. We went down the bobsled run. Cool experience. Canadians know how to play on the snow and ice.

Hockeyheads, don't forget to sign in to win our Big Game Getaway. It's a trip for 2 to any NHL city in April, all expense paid. We'll even throw in a couple hundred in spending cash so you can stay lubricated.
