This morning (Nov. 10), TMZ is reporting that Dolores O’Riordan, frontwoman for the Cranberries, has been arrested. Apparently she flew from New York to Ireland when she allegedly assaulted “an airline staffer” -- and then proceeded to headbutt the arresting officer.

According to TMZ, “the female crew member” was transported to a nearby hospital with “a leg or foot injury.” Fortunately, the cop who O’Riordan supposedly attacked is not hurt.

The BBC also reports that the singer was taken to a hospital, but as of this story’s writing, she remains in police custody.

If you need a refresher of the Cranberries’ work, look no further than their massively successful protest song from 1994, ‘Zombie':

The Cranberries’ most recent record is 2012’s ‘Roses.’ It peaked at No. 3 on Ireland’s Top 20 Indie chart.
