Each year the American Farm Bureau Federation comes out with their annual cost of Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people. This year's total? Just under $50! Is it just me or does that seem cheap? Just five dollars per person for a full Thanksgiving dinner?

Now if you're wondering what the $50 has to cover, here is the list. A 16-pound turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, peas, cranberries, carrots and celery, pumpkin pie, coffee, and milk. This year's total cost is less than 2015, down 1%.

The most expensive item is obviously the bird. A 16-pound turkey will cost your around $24 depending on where you buy it. But everything else you need is very affordable. So now there should be no excuse to have the whole family over this Thanksgiving!
