On Wednesday on "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show," we talked about a guy who had been fined $4,000 for taking a selfie while running with the bulls in 2014 in Pamplona, Spain. Because of that story, we started reminiscing about when Producer Joe and Steve ran with the bulls in July 2011.

Here in Grand Rapids there's an annual art contest called ArtPrize. It's a 19-day city-wide art exhibit in which artists display their work for everyone to see. People and a juried panel then vote on which pieces they think are the best and the winners receive $560,000 in cash prizes. There are many mediums, including paintings, drawings, sculpture and even performance art. One piece was titled

We took a call from Shane this morning, who does a sideshow act including laying on a bed of nails. It reminded us of the time five years ago when Producer Joe and Hot Wings did the same thing when a sideshow act came through the radio station.

A few weeks ago, Producer Joe was eating chick peas out of a bowl in the studio during "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show." We noticed how much the chick peas looked like Kix cereal. We figured if we couldn't tell the difference between the two, that most people probably wouldn't either.

After being challenged by many friends and co-workers, "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" crew was finally able to get everyone together for our official ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video on Thursday.

Our On-Location Hero hit the kit this morning. Producer Joe snuck into the venue across the street from the radio station in Grand Rapids. Motley Crue opens their farewell tour there tonight and Joe decided it was a great time to test out Tommy Lee's drum kit...
