It's no secret - the boys in Slap 'n' Tickle like to drink. Not just a little.... but a lot. That's why it will come as no surprise that they now have their own beer. It's called Slap N Tick' Ale!'

The beer was created by the Millstream Brewery in Amana. Millstream is one of the oldest craft breweries in the nation. Millstream owner Teresa Albert told me, "We've had so much fun with the band over the years that when they asked us to make a beer for them, of course we said yes!"

Slap guitarist and singer Curt Burgess told me, "Look bro, it's a match made in heaven. We love the people at Millstream. They've been supporting our band for years....this is a perfect match!"

Millstream had a special tapping of the beer a few weeks ago at the Millstream Brau House. I tried a few samples during my interview and I fell in love with it. It's a Wheat Ale that has plenty of lime added to it. It's a smooth beer with a kick....just like the band!

Bass player Jeff Woods told me, "This is the kind of beer a person could drink all afternoon. It tastes great - they really hit a home-run with this one!"

The band hopes to have the beer available at all of their upcoming gigs. For more information on Millstream , check out this link.

Cheers!
