Shots Fired In Cedar Rapids

This seems to be happening more and more here in the "City of Five Seasons."

According to CBS2, "Police in Cedar Rapids are investigating a shots fired incident near the same location where a shooting happened the day before.

Police were on a follow up investigation at 27th Street and O Avenue NW when they heard gunshots. The incident happened around 3:23 p.m.

Police spotted at silver vehicle leaving the scene and followed the driver to the 2400 block of 42nd Street NE. That's where police pulled over 18-year-old James Goad. He was arrested after CRPD found a handgun in the vehicle.

There were several other people in the vehicle but those names have not been released at this time. We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as soon as we learn more information.
