Saturday’s Big Boy Toy Show Includes Voice of the Hawkeyes

The Thomas Dostal Developers Big Boy Toy Show is tomorrow from 10 to 3 at the U.S. Cellular Center Convention Hall in downtown Cedar Rapids and Gary Dolphin, the voice of the Hawkeyes, will be there. Gary will be signing autographs and answering questions at 2:15.

Some of the questions I'd like to ask... Who was your favorite player to cover? What's your favorite Big Ten venue, not including one of Iowa's? What's your favorite Hawkeye team to cover in your almost 20 years behind the microphone? What's the greatest play you've ever called? My guess is he answers that with the play that preceded the photo below. I know you remember it... January 1st, 2005 at the Florida Citrus Bowl when Drew Tate hit Warren Holloway for the game winner. Thrilling!
