The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are atop the USHL as they head into the final weekend of the 2015-16 regular season... but their work isn't done!  Yes, the Riders have a great chance to clinch the Anderson Cup this weekend.  The Anderson Cup, the nearly 5-foot tall trophy named after Harold Anderson, is awarded to the USHL regular season champion.  Here's a look at the up-to-date Eastern Conference standings...

The math is easy.  With a two point lead and two games remaining, the race for the Anderson Cup comes down to the RoughRiders and the Green Bay Gamblers.

The Riders lost a pair this past weekend against the Dubuque Fighting Saints.  Meanwhile, Green Bay won on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to tighten up the race.  With victories in Waterloo and Sioux City this Friday and Saturday, it wouldn't matter what Green Bay does... let's hope the Riders can take home their first Anderson Cup since the 2010-11 season!
